Default The Occult Nature of the Olympics Closing Ceremony

"Occult" just means "hidden" and so in itself, it is a neutral word. It is neither good nor evil. The outcome of any occult act lies in the intention of the performer of it. But as many are increasingly becoming aware, there has been a silent and subterranean occult war going on for some time across the world between various Freemasonic groups.

While we're watching surface events, others are working the geometries, archetypes, leyline energies and numbers underneath that which appears to be happening on the surface, and these underground factors engage a part of our brain of which we're largely unconscious, which is why it's called the unconscious mind.

However, like the seven-eighths of the iceberg which lies under the water, our unconscious minds are more powerful than our conscious minds (the eighth of the iceberg above the water) in dictating the direction of our lives.

It's my belief that the main aim of all the psy-ops campaigns in recent months, about false flag attacks and possible ET invasions or Disclosure at the Olympics, has been to get us all to watch. They can't programme our unconscious minds if we don't watch what they put on our screens. So they needed us to be present and engaged ~ and I would say they've succeeded massively in drawing most of us in to be a part of their occult offering to the gods.

Why do I believe that the London Olympic Games 2012 was an occult ritualistic ceremony to the gods? Well, partly because it always was.

As Mike Williams wrote in his article How the Olympic Games Began as a Religious Ceremony, when the Olympics began, back in history, it was nothing to do with sport. The original Olympics were purely a ceremonial ritual dedicated to the gods of Olympus, and that hasn't changed.

The sporting bit of the Olympics was adopted much later on, and even today, it's only an excuse, to add to the enchantment of the masses. The Games themselves are just a veneer to hide the real Zionist Game and that is to perform a magical ritual which is carried out by the use of certain symbols, numbers and geometrical shapes and various other forms of alchemy which programs the unconscious minds of those watching and engaging.

The Divine Marriage

There was a lot of occult, alchemical symbology on display in the opening ceremony, and there are articles covering that in the Further Reading section below. But the main implant took place when the five rings became enflamed. This was to represent the spinning flaming wheels of the Old Testament prophet Elijah's chariot as he ascended to Heaven.

As the Game was broadcast all over the world, the programming continued with the original implant of the opening ceremony being constantly reinforced by the regular flashing up on our screens of the five rings, and Vangelis's Chariots of Fire playing in the background.

The athletes are awarded miniature versions of these wheels in the form of medals, the unconscious implication being that winning the Olympics will get than an audience with the gods of Olympus, just like Elijah.

But then like all occult ceremonies which have to be closed down when the aim has been achieved, we had last night's closing ritual.

The day before, organiser Kim Gavin had said:

"If the opening ceremony was the wedding, tonight will be the 'disco after the marriage.'"

Whether Gavin realised it or not, this was an allusion to the Divine Marriage, or Alchemical Marriage, a rite once practised by Rosicrucians and nowadays by Freemasons, and based on the text The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz.

The Divine Wedding is a metaphor for the most important stage in an alchemical process, known as a conjunction, which is a conjoining (or joining) of two substances to form a new substance with its own characteristics. This new substance is known as the Child of the Conjunction, or the Philosopher's Stone. The Philosopher's Stone is said to turn base metal into gold, and to offer the boon of immortality.

And so now that the aim of the creating the Philosopher's Stone had been achieved, the ceremony needed to be closed down with thanks, gratitude and celebration.

The Alchemy of the Closing Ceremony

It was an amazing show ~ as you would expect from something designed to fully engage the audience ~ and there were some brilliant performances (my favourites were Russell Brand as The Egg Man and Annie Lennox ). It was wonderful to see people having such a great time, especially the athletes and volunteers who deserved a great party after all their hard work.

However, underlying the show and the party, and unbeknown to most of those taking part, it was a Freemasonic closing ritual.

At the beginning, the struts of the London Eye which provided the backdrop for most of the activities of the first hour were set in the position of the saltire cross of the Scottish Rite of Freemasons. I've written extensively elsewhere about the deeper meaning and history of the saltire cross, but in a nutshell for now, it is about death and resurrection.

One of the highights featured a stepped pyramid created out of 303 white boxes to Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill, and when the song got to, "If I could make a deal with God" all the dancers were in full prostration on the floor.

In numerology, the O counts for zero, so in other words, the white boxes making up the pyramid represented the number 33, the most significant number for any Freemasonic ritual and the highest order that can be achieved.

The main numbers being used in the closing ceremony were 4, 7 and 27 ~ again all highly significant Freemason numbers (for instance, 40 members of Stomp, 400 lbs gold went into making all the gold medals, 270 singing schoolchidren, 70,000 volunteers etc.)

The classic masonic black-and-white chequered floor was flashed up, dozens of times, on the screen behind one of the performing bands, as a background to an Olympic medal in the foreground.

And then, at the end, the ultimate Freemasonic symbol of all, the phoenix rising from the ashes, to the sung words of "...we can rule the world" by Take That and the backdrop turning into the image of the famous masonic compasses and ruler.

Yeah, you and me we can ride on a star
If you stay with me, girl, we can rule the world
Yeah, you and me we can light up the sky
If you stay by my side, we can rule the world

In any occult closing ritual, the last action performed is the dowsing of the flame of the candle. In this case, it was the putting out of the torch or cauldron.

The Phoenix Rising is the Key

What more can we find in the following words?

There is a happy spot, retired in the first East, where the great gate of the eternal pole lies open.

It is not, however, situated near to his rising in summer or in winter, but where the sun pours the day from his vernal chariot.

There a plain spreads its open tracts; nor does any mound rise, nor hollow valley open itself.

But through twice six ells that place rises above the mountains, whose tops are thought to be lofty among us.

Here is the grove of the sun; a wood stands planted with many a tree, blooming with the honour of perpetual foliage.

When the pole had blazed with the fires of Phaethon, that place was uninjured by the flames; and when the deluge had immersed the world in waves, it rose above the waters of Deucalion.

No enfeebling diseases, no sickly old age, nor cruel death, nor harsh fear, approaches hither, nor dreadful crime, nor mad desire of riches, nor Mars, nor fury, burning with the love of slaughter.

Bitter grief is absent, and want clothed in rags, and sleepless cares, and violent hunger.

No tempest rages there, nor dreadful violence of the wind; nor does the hoar-frost cover the earth with cold dew.

No cloud extends its fleecy covering above the plains, nor does the turbid moisture of water fall from on high; but there is a fountain in the middle, which they call by the name of living; it is clear, gentle, and abounding with sweet waters, which, bursting forth once during the space of each month, twelve times irrigates all the grove with waters.

Here a species of tree, rising with lofty stem, bears mellow fruits not about to fall on the ground.

This grove, these woods, a single bird, the phnix, inhabits, single, but it lives reproduced by its own death. It obeys and submits to Phbus, a remarkable attendant. Its parent nature has given it to possess this office.

When at its first rising the saffron morn grows red, when it puts to flight the stars with its rosy light, thrice and four times she plunges her body into the sacred waves, thrice and four times she sips water from the living stream.

She is raised aloft, and takes her seat on the highest top of the lofty tree, which alone looks down upon the whole grove; and turning herself to the fresh risings of the nascent Phbus, she awaits his rays and rising beam.

And when the sun has thrown back the threshold of the shining gate, and the light gleam of the first light has shone forth, she begins to pour strains of sacred song, and to hail the new light with wondrous voice, which neither the notes of the nightingale nor the flute of the Muses can equal with Cyrrhan strains.

But neither is it thought that the dying swan can imitate it, nor the tuneful strings of the lyre of Mercury.

After that Phbus has brought back his horses to the open heaven, and continually advancing, has displayed his whole orb; she applauds with thrice-repeated flapping of her wings, and having thrice adored the fire-bearing head, is silent.

And she also distinguishes the swift hours by sounds not liable to error by day and night: an overseer of the groves, a venerable priestess of the wood, and alone admitted to your secrets, O Phbus.

And when she has now accomplished the thousand years of her life, and length of days has rendered her burdensome, in order that she may renew the age which has glided by, the fates pressing her, she flees from the beloved couch of the accustomed grove.

And when she has left the sacred places, through a desire of being born again, then she seeks this world, where death reigns.

Full of years, she directs her swift flight into Syria, to which Venus herself has given the name of Phnice; and through trackless deserts she seeks the retired groves in the place, where a remote wood lies concealed through the glens.

Then she chooses a lofty palm, with top reaching to the heavens, which has the pleasing name of phnix from the bird, and where no hurtful living creature can break through, or slimy serpent, or any bird of prey.

Then olas shuts in the winds in hanging caverns, lest they should injure the bright air with their blasts, or lest a cloud collected by the south wind through the empty sky should remove the rays of the sun, and be a hindrance to the bird.

Afterwards she builds for herself either a nest or a tomb, for she perishes that she may live; yet she produces herself.

Hence she collects juices and odours, which the Assyrian gathers from the rich wood, which the wealthy Arabian gathers; which either the Pygman nations, or India crops, or the Saban land produces from its soft bosom.

Hence she heaps together cinnamon and the odour of the far-scented amomum, and balsams with mixed leaves.

Neither the twig of the mild cassia nor of the fragrant acanthus is absent, nor the tears and rich drop of frankincense.

To these she adds tender ears of flourishing spikenard, and joins the too pleasing pastures of myrrh.

Immediately she places her body about to be changed on the strewed nest, and her quiet limbs on such a couch.

Then with her mouth she scatters juices around and upon her limbs, about to die with her own funeral rites.

Then amidst various odours she yields up her life, nor fears the faith of so great a deposit.

In the meantime her body, destroyed by death, which proves the source of life, is hot, and the heat itself produces a flame; and it conceives fire afar off from the light of heaven: it blazes, and is dissolved into burnt ashes.

And these ashes collected in death it fuses, as it were, into a mass, and has an effect resembling seed. From this an animal is said to arise without limbs, but the worm is said to be of a milky colour.

And it suddenly increases vastly with an imperfectly formed body, and collects itself into the appearance of a well-rounded egg.

After this it is formed again, such as its figure was before, and the phnix, having burst her shell, shoots forth, even as caterpillars in the fields, when they are fastened by a thread to a stone, are wont to be changed into a butterfly. No food is appointed for her in our world, nor does any one make it his business to feed her while unfledged.

She sips the delicate ambrosial dews of heavenly nectar which have fallen from the star-bearing pole.

She gathers these; with these the bird is nourished in the midst of odours, until she bears a natural form.

But when she begins to flourish with early youth, she flies forth now about to return to her native abode.

Previously, however, she encloses in an ointment of balsam, and in myrrh and dissolved frankincense, all the remains of her own body, and the bones or ashes, and relics of herself, and with pious mouth brings it into a round form, and carrying this with her feet, she goes to the rising of the sun, and tarrying at the altar, she draws it forth in the sacred temple.

She shows and presents herself an object of admiration to the beholder; such great beauty is there, such great honour abounds.

In the first place, her colour is like the brilliancy of that which the seeds of the pomegranate when ripe take under the smooth rind; such colour as is contained in the leaves which the poppy produces in the fields, when Flora spreads her garments beneath the blushing sky.

Her shoulders and beautiful breasts shine with this covering; with this her head, with this her neck, and the upper parts of her back shine.

And her tail is extended, varied with yellow metal, in the spots of which mingled purple blushes. Between her wings there is a bright mark above, as Tris on high is wont to paint a cloud from above.

She gleams resplendent with a mingling of the green emerald, and a shining beak of pure horn opens itself. Her eyes are large; you might believe that they were two jacinths; from the middle of which a bright flame shines.

An irradiated crown is fitted to the whole of her head, resembling on high the glory of the head of Phbus.

Scales cover her thighs spangled with yellow metal, but a rosy colour paints her claws with honour. Her form is seen to blend the figure of the peacock with that of the painted bird of Phasis.

The winged creature which is produced in the lands of the Arabians, whether it be beast or bird, can scarcely equal her magnitude.

She is not, however, slow, as birds which through the greatness of their body have sluggish motions, and a very heavy weight. But she is light and swift, full of royal beauty.

Such she always shows herself in the sight of men. Egypt comes hither to such a wondrous sight, and the exulting crowd salutes the rare bird.

Immediately they carve her image on the consecrated marble, and mark both the occurrence and the day with a new title. Birds of every kind assemble together; none is mindful of prey, none of fear. Attended by a chorus of birds, she flies through the heaven, and a crowd accompanies her, exulting in the pious duty.

But when she has arrived at the regions of pure ether, she presently returns; afterwards she is concealed in her own regions.

But oh, bird of happy lot and fate, to whom the god himself granted to be born from herself!

Whether it be female, or male, or neither, or both, happy she, who enters into no compacts of Venus. Death is Venus to her; her only pleasure is in death: that she may be born, she desires previously to die.

She is an offspring to herself, her own father and heir, her own nurse, and always a foster-child to herself. She is herself indeed, but not the same, since she is herself, and not herself, having gained eternal life by the blessing of death.

Lactantius

The Phoenix we have covered in its truer poetic vision. There is as always a darker side real or imaginary certainly as you are well aware regarding Occult and in particular free-masonic symbolism the meanings can change by degree as Albert Pike who diddled most of the modern rituals together went by the same way as the Sabians or Ishmalians so as initiate left the simplicity of the Blue Lodge he discovered that by each progressive degree everything that was imparted previously became false. The connection to The Freemasons and The Ishmalian is spurious however there is a distinct link between the The Knights Templar and the Fortress at Alamut.

My first blog when I returned to blogging was this.

http://wizardparadox.blogspot.co.uk/...d-welcome.html

It was true to me however very tongue in cheek.

So we look at the Phoenix here purely from what has been interpreted as its Occult application.

DCLXVIε
1010011020
2x3x37
= 15 + 21

The Above numbers = 666 As The Number of The Beast. We can question now What is Rising?

The Circle announces the Nature of the Great Work.
He [the Magician] chooses the circle rather than any other lineal figure for many reasons; e.g.

He affirms thereby his identity with the infinite.
He affirms the equal balance of his working; since all points on the circumference are equadistant from the center.
He affirms the limitation implied by his devotion to the Great Work. He no longer wanders aimlessly in the world.

The Circle of the Stadium is the Axis Mundi - The World Stage and now we can see they have stamped upon it the Great Seal.

Albert Pike in Morals and Dogma , page 773, explains, The Great Work is, above all things, the creation of man by himself; that is to say, the full and entire conquest which he effects of his faculties and his future. It is, above all, the perfect emancipation of his will, which assures him . . . complete power over the universal Magical agent. The shape of the Great Seal explains that it is to illustrate the completion of the Great Work.

The Eagle (the fire bird or phoenix symbol) had the occult meanings of death and resurrection. The Phoenix is also connected to the sun cults of the Middle and Far East. From at least the time of the Roman Empire, the eagle and phoenix were used as symbols of imperial strength. The eagle, in a double headed from, is used as the symbol for the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

The Masonic meaning of the eagle is implied by the design used on the Great Seal. The eagle on the seal has 33 feathers on one wing and 32 feathers on the other. This is in reference to the last two degrees of Scottish Rite Freemasonry. It should be noted that these degrees correlate with the levels in Eastern Religions passed through during reincarnation to god-hood.

The eagle is also a symbol of Jupiter, the Roman god associated with such affairs as government. From ancient times, the eagle has been used as a symbol of imperial might. As the Roman army marched across Europe, Africa, and Central Asia to establish their great empire, they did so under the Roman Imperial Eagle. In this way, the founders of America were identifying themselves with imperial Rome.

The set square and the compass are on the surface two symbols that suggest the connection to the MASON aspect of a building fraternity and an attempt to link themselves back to Hiram Abiff. Also as far as the new blue lodge initiate is instructed they carry the following information...
The compass, which is used to draw circles, represents the realm of the spiritual- eternity. It is symbolic of the defining and limiting principle, and also of infinite boundaries.
The angle measures the square, the symbol of earth and the realm of the material. The square reprents fairness, balance, firmness, etc., which is reflected in phrases such as "on the square" and "squared away." Something that is squared is something that is stable, a foundation for building upon.
Together, the compass and square represent the convergence of matter and spirit, and the convergence of earthly and spiritual responsibilities. The two symbols together form a hexagram, the union of earth with the heavens, matter and mind, etc.
Yet we need again to look deeper.

And it depends if we want to make a Hexagram or a Pentagram from the symbols, the hexagram is the normal applies symbol when we combine the set square and the compass.

Here I will introduce again the Great Seal which is the symbol they portrayed duding last nights closing ceremony.

Great Seal.jpg

The Hexagram is seen above the head of the Phoenix it is made of thirteen stars.

VENIRE & COM = together & to come or move. In Middle English: COVIN = a group of confederates, while the Old French: COVINE = group with a single purpose. The grouping of thirteen colonies formed a new nation, or Covendom, as they declared independence from European States. This is the same theme we get from the Latin motto on the seal, E PLURIBUS UNUM (One out of Many). The Coven of states is represented by the constellation of thirteen stars above the eagles head.

Interesting here that we have thirteen stars above the head of the Eagle. There will and has always been 12 signs to the Zodiac however
Ophiuchus does stand over the head of the Eagle - Scorpio and this year there is that astronomical and astrological alignment.

There are lots of others applications to the thirteen stars. And there is much we can also say about the hexagram.

Finally the Eagle/Phoenix holds in its talons on the right as you walk back into it a bushel of
marijuana a not perhaps again to the connection between The Knights Templar, Illumination and The Order of Assassins I hinted at above.

And in the talon on the left as you walk back into the symbol we have Thirteen Arrows. Thirteen arrows to strike Thirteen Stars.
I suppose when I write stars you should read constellations. The arrows at best represent warfare and the slaughter of innocents that go with it.

As we look at the upper part of the Olympic symbol we flip the coin over to the other side here we have from the image you provided the three squares this is the Squaring of the Circle. The 47th Problem of Euclid. The problem is written or solved in the ratio 3:5:7.
These are the steps in Masonry. They are the steps in the Winding Stair which leads to the Middle Chamber and they are the number of brethren which form the number of Master Masons necessary to open a lodge of: Three Masters, Five Fellow Craft and Seven Entered Apprentices. Here also there is a hint that this it to do with timing the stars and the constellations. The Squaring of the circle masonry aside allows one to calculate the distances between the stars.

The three stars on the upper right. From a purely masonic point of view the following stars are of importance Regalus setting over the Whitehouse, Spica in Virgo and Arcturus in Bootes. Would you believe that this is what occurs in August when the Sun is in Leo! Albert Pike again said that by these stars The Constellation of Virgo is Enclosed. He further claimed that by this virtue Washington as a City is, "the city was intended to celebrate the mystery of Virgo of the Egyptian Isis, the Grecian Ceres and the Christian Virgin."
Who is the Child.. The Eye in the Pyramid. Called the eye of Ra, more correctly the eye of Horus, (This is the Occult Age of Horus), and even more correctly Wadjet. A goddess of Egyptian antiquity. The Green One. Also her name is part of my magickal name.
The Going Forth of Wadjet was celebrated on December 25 with chants and songs. An annual festival held in the city celebrated Wadjet on April 21. Other important dates for special worship of her were June 21, the Summer Solstice and March 14. She also was assigned the fifth hour of the fifth day of the moon.

It is in the above Symbol the Eye of Horus. The all seeing eye of the divine child born from the divine mother Isis.

So what has happened here is the Great Seal of The United States of America has been imprinted across the world and stamped firmly upon the London Olympics and Europe.

The Phoenix is rising, From my impervious reply to this thread the Phoenix is Venus

"Full of years, she directs her swift flight into Syria, to which Venus herself has given the name of Phnice; and through trackless deserts she seeks the retired groves in the place, where a remote wood lies concealed through the glens."

If I was to read the signs I would say its another message to the Unconscious mind to show who is in control and that they will initiate or advance upon the Theater of Combat......... Understand here that Syria was once a name given to Levant that would be what is now the following countries Syria, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon inclusive of Gaza.

And is the new Mars mission not also about timing.

Three pretty lights viewed from Mars, (The Planet of War). Jupiter, Venus, Earth.

Earth from Mars.JPG

Timing the Hourglass Nebula
hourglass nebula.jpg

The Phoenix Nebula
phoenix nebula.jpg

"Whether it be female, or male, or neither, or both, happy she, who enters into no compacts of Venus. Death is Venus to her; her only pleasure is in death: that she may be born, she desires previously to die."

....the idea that the rumours mongered afor the event were nothing more than this, cast to arrest our attentions, for all its reasonableness, appears itself to be a self fulfilling prophecy......a mirror game.....which begs the question, are we so complicit in this 'ritual'......

inevitably, I've to ask, if it indeed be such, 'who owns this ritual'.......and 'who', or even more pertinent, 'what is owned by or through it?', in your respected opinions......

BP, BT, ADIDAS, are just three major sponsors, where it is known that they stand to profit greatly by way of offsetting their sponsorship and any money received by way of a tax have charitable accounts.

Stephen Daldry is the director who provided much of the concepts for the closing ceremony.

As I never watched the opening any of the in-between or the closing I will need to ask someone else as to 'who owns this ritual'.......and 'who', or even more pertinent, 'what is owned by or through it?'

Is it about 'owning' something, like owning an idea or a dream, and being very protective of it?

For instance, that picture of the Great Seal has been going viral on Facebook and Twitter, and while many people have recognised it, others have reacted somewhat angrily or even violently against it ... because, in my view, recognising it would mean buying into a world view or dream that they're not prepared to buy into because they've already bought into a different one.

In a review of the world's papers on BBC News earlier, it was interesting to hear how the Games, and that closing ceremony in particular, has been viewed in other countries. And I was amused at how often they used the words 'entrancing' and 'enchanting' or 'magical' or 'beguiling'.

I've also noticed how the whole of the Games, from the opening to the closing, seems to have given people a new dream to dream, which could be good if it was the Martin Luther kind of "I had a dream" dream. But I've a feeling they've just been sold an opium dream. And just like you get angry if you're woken up from a lovely dream, they're spitting venom at me. One guy, who I don't even follow on Twitter and have never ever had any dealings with, sent me a tweet saying "Oh do **** off.".

Now this article, with the picture, has just been published on Red Ice Creations, and so I'm expecting even more violent outbursts from people who own a new dream and are loathe to be shaken awake from it.

Jonny, many thanks for going to trouble with that detailed explanation about the phoenix, and I'll come back and study it more carefully later.

I agree with your take here Ishtar, and it does surprise me how much knee-jerking there is going on, how many internet flies are buzzing around the world wide s**t heap and what a gloriously blinkered distraction it has all created - there is no doubt that these symbols are in plain sight for all to see, and if ever there was an ideal opportunity for playing the subconscious card while using them, this was it. However, if this is the case it looks to me more like a desperate tactic to recruit expectations via collective sweeping rather than a 'ritual'.....the light show was a perfect device for inducing the opiate trance.....

......I'm skeptical around just how much efficacy these symbols have in this context - as magical symbols they may have potentially great power, no doubts, so, does their use in such a context by such means still evoke such magical power - without it it all remains at the level of mind-games, and calling it ritual, especially in connection with the 'Illuminati', isn't going to help - those who love to hate the Illuminati are being fed a royal meal (pun intended), but, I've also noticed how strong and angry a reaction the word and idea of 'ritual' gets (it has happened on my own blog recently too) and I feel we have to be careful not to be feeding the very fire we'd like to see extinguished.....and I say this not as a criticism, but out of care, especially for folks such as yourself who are prepared to put their heads above the parapet and risk telling it how it is.

I'm not a mason, have been approached and invited, yes, but, thats a road I'll not be taking....however, I have employed some of these symbols, in what I considered to be an appropriate setting, have a certain love for the symbol of the Phoenix, see it in a positive light, do recognise the power of the symbols used here and know that they can, with care, be used for the good......again, not condoning the use of them here, just saying......

....but, the question of who this ritual belongs to remains - in my mind it is probably best answered personally by asking 'whom do you serve'?

Wiz - I bow to your knowledge and poetic spirit!

Owlmirror Thank you it's with Irony for this comes via the Knights Templar when I say, "Bow to no man, not even me."

The rituals the symbols the archetypes -
surely ultimately they belong to everyone and then that returns us back to under what context, under what energy?

All great points, thanks owlmirror and wizard.

I did make the point right at the beginning that that the word 'occult' in itself does not necessarily mean something evil, because it's all in the intention of the performer of the act. Maybe people will ignore that first sentence, though, in their haste to get to the meat of the article.

I think there's a difference, though, between sorcery and shamanism, and I would define that as follows: The former is disempowering and the latter is empowering.

Sorcery or low magic uses magical means to create a favourable advantage for oneself or for one's tribe or community, over another person, tribe or community, which it seeks to disempower. High magic or shamanism seeks to serve the common good of all and thus it is empowering for everyone.

But both kinds of magic use similar symbols and archetypes. It's not what you use, in other words, it's the way that you use it.

I think the occult act carried out in the Olympic stadium last night was an act of sorcery because it was done without the common consent of those engaged in the act ~ this includes everyone watching, even on the telly. I hope it doesn't put people off the idea of working magically for the common higher good in a self-empowered way where their consent is not only given, but vital to the good of the workings.

I hear you and I agree.

Perhaps if we approached Stephen Daldry C.B.E. he could explain his context.

....by way of a reflection on the potentialy more sinister occult nature of all this - we do have to look for the signs and I've been thinking about those angry reactions youve been getting Ishtar - it could well be such a 'sorcerous' intent that is becoming manifest in and contributing to the expression of anger you've been experiencing, a backlash to the usery, a reaction that is a low-consciousness knee-jerk that resembles the reflex of a soul thats just been shafted, but, hasn't quite got whats happening - this too would be feeding that intent - low magic, as you say, operates by way of keeping itself within its own circle, so to speak, in order to maintain itself and it has to steal or buy-in life force to thrive or grow - its a succubus that makes everyone its potential food, providing youre in a torpor or out of your box in some other way - in this sense, if it is indeed scorcery, the subliminal or occulted level of this debacle is essential not only to its survival but to its efficacy so discussing this with any of the architects of these ceremonies will more than likely be a waste of time, unless of course your already in the circle of intent.....or a party to those who are, mmm? Oh the fun and games.....so yes, I think your right, but that paradoxically (sorry Wizard) all this will only stand a chance of putting people off the good and rightful use of high magic if they remain asleep within someone elses dream.......are those Caliban's words I hear echoing across the last two weeks.....

These words:

Be not afeard; the isle is full of noises,
Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears; and sometime voices
That, if I then had waked after long sleep,
Will make me sleep again; and then in dreaming,
The clouds methought would open, and show riches
Ready to drop upon me, that when I waked
I cried to dream again.

I didn't know The Tempest, so I was wondering about the context of Caliban's Speech. I found this on Wikipedia, and wonder if this is how they see us? As half men ....? If so, this would be where all the psy-ops comes from about us being mutations of the gods mating with humans.

I agree that this motif occurs in some of the sacred texts, but I've never read it literally. I understand it to be a metaphor for energy and matter combining as part of a cosmological teaching about the creation. But because people don't understand that our earliest ancestors were intelligent enough to understand such a concept, let alone put it in a metaphor, they assume it must have literal meaning, and that the 'sons of the gods' really did 'make love with the daughters of man.' Matter or prathrithi in ancient texts is always feminine. That's why the feminine root word is 'ma', and leads to words like 'matron', 'maternal' and Mary Magdalene.

It sometimes scares me that those who rule over us are so ignorant... and that our ancient ancestors were so much more knowledgeable.

This is the story of Caliban, and how he agrees to enslavement by Prospero.

After his island becomes occupied by Prospero and his cohort, Caliban is forced into servitude. While he is referred to as a calvaluna or mooncalf, a freckled monster, he is the only human inhabitant of the island that is otherwise "not honour'd with a human shape“ (Prospero, I.2.283). In some traditions he is depicted as a wild man, or a deformed man, or a beast man, or sometimes a mix of fish and man, stemming from the confusion of two of the characters about what he is, found lying on a deserted island. Caliban is the son of Sycorax by (according to Prospero) a devil. Banished from Algiers, Sycorax was left on the isle, pregnant with Caliban, and died before Prospero's arrival. Caliban refers to Setebos as his mother's god. Prospero explains his harsh treatment of Caliban by claiming that after initially befriending him, Caliban attempted to rape Miranda. Caliban confirms this gleefully, saying that if he hadn't been stopped he would have peopled the island with a race of Calibans - "Though dist prevent me, I had peopled else this isle with Calibans"(Act I:ii). Prospero then entraps Caliban and torments him. Resentful of Prospero, Caliban takes Stephano, one of the shipwrecked servants, as a god and as his new master. Caliban learns that Stephano is neither a god nor Prospero's equal in the conclusion of the play, however, and Caliban agrees to obey Prospero again.

aye, they're the ones - now why, out of the entire Shakespearian canon, would 'someone' choose those words........and have them issue from the mouth of I Kingdom B on the slopes of the magical hill.....with a big fat smirk on his face.....or was that just the taste of Brannagh ham.......for all the implications of the colonisation of the magical past by the mechanised future and its founding 'fathers' psychopathy, Prospero is as Prospero does, a prejudiced hero under sway of suppressed spirits who prospers on the back of others while projecting his own shadow - and Caliban's words are a mirror to that shadow.....aye, they're the ones

Yes, there is in 'them' a reflection of the seperation of spirit and matter, such that spirit becomes the hungry ghost, which is what 'they' might appear to be, or be possessed by.....and so 'matter' becomes the defiled detritus and discarded husk once the spirit has been sucked from it - cf the Eden story
This is the story of Caliban, and how he agrees to enslavement by Prospero.
and Sycorax, literally 'With the Crows', is a medicine woman of the moon lodge whose been defiled (most probably stitched up and branded) and who as a keeper of the sacred law (as was 'Eve') was outcast for the crime of being wise to the ways of the world and being a keeper of star law, what we might call an astrologer, to boot.....Caliban, as a child of this moon mother, has the markings of the stars, his freckles.....full of delicious ironies

Beautiful posts Paradox. The one ting I'm having trouble wrapping my head around is the phoenix as Venus. The phoenix rising is certainly Venusian however it is important to note the second we give "rise" a symbol (e.g. something rising) -- that symbol becomes a construct. Our interaction with rise, encasing it symbolically in order to understand it. So it is a construct rising. Mercury rising through Venus. Due to our inability to truly reference the great work with any symbol, something that can only be experienced, the question becomes. Who's construct? It must be interpreted into its locality. What associations of function are in the vicinity of this, fresh in peoples time-ridden minds, that rise with it?
