    I'm really enjoying this track ~ Ai Du ~ this morning, from Ali Farka Toure's Talking Timbuktu album.

    This Malian singer and guitarist (here with Ry Cooder) is much under-rated. You can hear in this amazing track how North American blues has much to thank Malian music for.

    Great choice Ishtar. I love Tuareg music. My favourite Tuareg bands are Tartit and, of course, Tinariwen. They really are the precursors to blues music. Thanks for the tune.
