The Bracelet from Denisova Cave
This just haunts me . . . . in a most beautiful sense . . . .
I've noticed that there is already an undercurrent of opinion in archaeological circles (read Das Klub) that, similar to the dismissal of the Neandertal as capable of "human" cognition and art, that the Denisovans are somehow inferior proto-humans.
And it is a source of great wholeness to my Way that not only Neandertal but also Denisovan genes are threads in my genetic weave; somewhere back there is the mother of all my mothers, the father of all my fathers.
