Default Science is discovering the Akashic Records

As a shamanic healer and Hermeticist, I work with the energy field of the person, and sometimes even the energy field of the place. It is possible to heal communities in this way, as well as heal people.

So what is this field, and how can we bring about changes in our lives through understanding about it? Science has been very slowly lumbering in that direction over hundreds of years, but until the paradigm shift caused by biologist Rupert Sheldrake's theories about the morphic field become better known, it will be hundreds more years before it gets there.

Einstein was ahead of the game when said that this energy field governs the particle. In other words, whatever is going on in this energetic template will resonate in the material body it supports, whether a human, an object, an animal or a place on the land. If you can find a way to change the resonant morphic field, you can change the imbalance causing dis-ease in a person, or place or even a thing. And this is what shamans and magicians do. We understand that what looks to be solid really is just a grouping of information in the field, often in geometric format.

'Morphic field' is a term introduced by Rupert Sheldrake. He proposes that there is a field within and around a morphic unit which organizes its characteristic structure and pattern of activity. According to this concept, the morphic field underlies the formation and behaviour of holons and morphic units, and can be set up by the repetition of similar acts or thoughts. The hypothesis is that a particular form belonging to a certain group which has already established its (collective) morphic field, will tune into that morphic field. The particular form will read the collective information through the process of morphic resonance, using it to guide its own development. This development of the particular form will then provide, again through morphic resonance, a feedback to the morphic field of that group, thus strengthening it with its own experience resulting in new information being added (i.e. stored in the database). Sheldrake regards the morphic fields as a universal database for both organic (living) and abstract (mental) forms.

A Bridge between Biology and Physics
Morphic Fields create a bridge between biology and physics, explaining many phenomenas and unsolved questions. For example how is it possible that homeopathic remedies works even if they are diluted over the Loschmidt constant and so there should be no atom of the original substance be present anymore? Because homeopathic remedies transmits their morphic fields from the original substance to the carrier substance, no matter if it is water, sugar or alcohol. With further dilution the morphic field reinforce and the remedy becomes stronger. This is in harmony with the theory of morphic resonance, because Sheldrake explained that a repeating task or thought would reinforce the morphic field.

Morphic Resonance is a feedback mechanism between the field and the corresponding forms of morphic units. The greater the degree of similarity, the greater the resonance, leading to habituation or persistence of particular forms. So, the existence of a morphic field makes the existence of a new similar form easier.
The theory of morphic fields also explains mass movements which occur when there are changes in the collective morphic field and the collective consciousness transforms ineradicably, such as we've just seen in Cairo. What is it that brings about the tipping point? It is a substantial change in the morphic field. It is no coincidence that Sathya Sai Baba and some other associates spent some time dismantling the dark and angry storm clouds making up the morphic field over the Eastern Bloc, and particularly Russia, just months before the Berlin Wall fell.

As is shown in homeopathy, and confirmed by Nobel-Prize winning laureates, water holds memories of what was dissolved in it long after all atoms of that material have been diluted out of existence. This is because the memory is held in the morphic field of the water. In fact, all memories are held in the morphic field and thus if one has access to this field, one automatically has access to a goldmine of information and guidance. This 'astral library' was known to our ancestors as the Akashic Records because the Vedics called the morphic field 'akasha'.

    Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious
That a mode of transmission of shared informational patterns and archetypes might exist did gain some tacit acceptance, when it was proposed as the theory of collective unconscious by renowned psychiatrist Carl Jung. According to Sheldrake, the theory of morphic fields might provide an explanation for Jung's concept as well. Also, he agrees that the concept of Akashic Records, term from Vedas representing the 'library' of all the experiences and memories of human minds (souls) through their physical lifetime, can be related to morphic fields, since one's past (an Akashic Record) is a mental form, consisting of thoughts as simpler mental forms (all processed by the same brain), and a group of similar or related mental forms also have their associated (collective) morphic field. (Sheldrake's view on memory-traces is that they are 'non-local', and not located in the brain.)

This is serious stuff ... from Rupert Sheldrake's site.

On July 9 2009 ...Lewis Wolpert and Rupert announced a wager on the predictive power of the genome. The wager will be decided on May 1, 2029, and if the outcome is not obvious, the Royal Society, the world's most venerable scientific organization, will be asked to adjudicate. The winner will receive a case of fine port, Quinta do Vesuvio, 2005, which should have reached perfect maturity by 2029 and is being stored in the cellars of The Wine Society.
A case of fine port is on the line. By 2029 it will be 24 years old and aged well. Lewis Wolpert bets that the following will happen. Rupert bets it will not:

By May 1, 2029, given the genome of a fertilized egg of an animal or plant, we will be able to predict in at least one case all the details of the organism that develops from it, including any abnormalities.
Both agree that at present, given the genome of an egg, no one can predict the way an embryo will develop.
The world and wine watchers everywhere await.
The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

I believe Edgar Cayce used to access the Akashic Records too when giving readings to individuals?
